Cookies and browser storage

Cookies are small values a browser stores and can send with requests. Local storage and session storage keep values in the browser for an application to use. This policy covers the Bluum website and explains storage used when you move into the workspace or family portal.

The current landing-page code does not set analytics or advertising cookies and does not include advertising pixels. Hosting services may process request or security information separately. A production cookie inventory still needs to be verified against the deployed provider configuration.

What the applications store

Current application storage categories
StoragePurposeDuration
Authentication cookiesSupabase-backed sign-in and session continuity in authenticated applications.Determined by the authentication configuration and session refresh; sign-out clears the application session.
bloom_active_orgRemembers the selected studio in the workspace. The historical cookie name remains in use after the Bluum rebrand.Up to one year, unless replaced or cleared sooner.
Session storagePreserves action identifiers, pending SMS text, CSV import submissions, and enrollment adjustments for protected retries, helping avoid duplicate submissions.Until cleared after the operation or the browser’s tab session ends; browser session restoration may retain it.

Hosted payment and service pages

Opening a Stripe-hosted checkout or billing page takes you to a separate service that may use its own cookies and security storage. Authentication and hosting providers may also use storage needed to deliver their services. Those providers’ notices describe their own practices; this page does not claim to control cookies on their domains.

Your controls

You can inspect, block, or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Sign out before clearing application storage. Removing necessary storage may sign you out, reset your selected studio, or remove a protected retry record for an unfinished action.

Communication preferences in the family portal control studio messages; they are not cookie-consent settings. Clearing cookies does not delete studio records or withdraw communication preferences saved in the database.

Optional tracking

Bluum’s current landing page has no optional tracking categories to enable. If optional analytics or advertising storage is introduced, this notice and any required consent controls must be updated before that storage is activated. No optional tracking is being enabled by these policy pages.
